Today's Adventure and Some Swimming

So today I had this plan to take Rylin and Kylie to see Ryan at his fire station so they could see the firetrucks and play with the equipment then I was going to take them to the beach.  So I was ready to leave the house by 8:30 to get to Ryan and right before I was leaving he text saying he had a meeting and to wait to come so we sat around for a couple of hours then just headed to the beach instead. When we got there it was nice but cloudy then as soon as some friends showed up it started to pour. So we waited it out for a bit to see if it would stop and it eventually did and we had a good couple hours playing at the beach.  When it was time to leave I made a couple of trips to the car to get everything in there and then come back for the kids so I could wash them off in the shower and get them as sand free as I could in the car. For those of you who don't know Dania beach it is really nice cause you park right next to the shower and its really easy to get kids clean and in cars which is huge when its only you. So anyway I got Rylin clean put her in the car with it running then went back and got Kylie clean and as soon as I was about to open the car door I heard it lock! I went to the front seat and saw that Rylin had pushed down the lock and locked herself in. I tried for a good ten minutes to coax her into pulling up the lock but she had no idea what I was talking about but then proceeded for whatever reason to turn the car key to the off position. So now she was not only locked in the car but it was off! As I was panicking outside the car Rylin got in her car seat grabbed some snacks and was watching a movie cause the car was still turned to the on position. So between me and my other friends trying to get her to open the car door, I decided since she had no interest in us outside that I should call the fire dept. and it was really hot outside so I know it doesn't take long to heat up inside. The fire dept got there in about 10 min or so and took them about 5 min to open the door. When they opened the door she was still naked cause I hadn't had a chance to dress her and she was dripping with sweat but was just fine besides that.  And then Kristy made the joke that I had the fire dept come to me instead of going to them this morning which I thought was pretty funny.  After that event we came home took some naps then went to see Ryan at his station and play with all the fire stuff. The girls loved it and Rylin kept talking about "unlcewyan and the firefks"  Kylie was enjoying it too but got really scared when Ryan put on all his gear she didn't like the way he looked at all. She kept backing up away from him and had the funniest look on her face.
