Disney 2010

Our Disney adventure this time around started off with a couple of bumps but was a blast...We left here around 2:00 on Thursday and got to hotel around 5 checked in and thought that things we off to a great start. The plan was to go to Hollywood studios on Friday then Magic Kingdom on Saturday then home Sunday. Well Friday when we got to the park we found out that our seasonal passes were blackedout that day because it was still Easter holiday. Yes I forgot to check blackout dates and I did hear from Matt several times "why didnt you check the blackout dates" :0 So we went back to hotel and just decided to hang out and go swimming and relax for the day which was fine because there is so much to do at the hotel. We swam for a bit then took a boat over to downtown Disney. When we passed the other part of the hotel we were staying at I realized that we were at the wrong section of the hotel and I meant to book the french quarter part not riverside where we were at. For none Disney goers we were staying at the Disney resort called port Orleans which has two sections one is riverside which is suppose to look like new Orleans country side and more relaxed with big white mansions while the other section is called french quarter and it is suppose to look like bourbon street. So after seeing french quarter we decided to see if we could switch over. while everyone was napping after downtown Disney I went and switched us over to french quarter and booked us an extra night so we would leave on Monday instead of Sunday giving us one more day at a park. So we switched over that night and the next day we were off to magic kingdom when we got on the bus I soon realized I didn't have my wallet and the last time I remembered seeing it was at the other hotel on the bed. So Matt and the kids stayed at magic kingdom and I got on another bus and went back to hotel which is about 10 min away. Went back to room and couldn't find wallet anywhere I knew I had left it in the other room. So I went to the front desk and they called lost and found but no one could find it. After 30 min of looking I decided to drive to other part of hotel about 2 min away , I went to the manager who helped me switch over to the other hotel earlier and asked him to help me find it. He also called lost and found and nothing. And this whole time I kept thinking my temple recommends are in there its got to be safe ;) So the manager grabbed the keys and said lets go check out the room because he thought it hadn't been clean yet. We got to the room and no luck by this time I was getting worried it was gone, as we were walking back we past a room about four doors down from my old room and a housekeeper was talking to another one and she looked up at me and said are you room 9031 and I said yes she said here is your wallet...........man was that a relief I couldn't believe it and everything was in there. I was soo happy that I forgot to give her something for finding it and being so honest.
After all that I finally made it back to Magic Kingdom and we finished the day out there. The next day we did Hollywood Studios and then spent a couple of hours at Animal Kingdom. Then drove home today. So it was a good trip and we had fun spending time together just as a family.
