Rylins First Day of Gymnastics!

So I signed Rylin up for a gymnastics class because I thought she would enjoy tumbling and learning how to jump and all the other stuff that goes along with it. It is a 45 min class one day a week and Tuesday was her first day. When we arrived I soon realized that she would b the only one in her class. Which is bad and good. Bad because she will have no one to follow and show her what to do which means she will have no idea why she is in this big fun looking gym. Good because she will get one on one time with instructor. So the class started and at first she didnt want to leave my side but then soon realized that she was in this hugh gym. The instructor put a bunch of stuffed animals on the lower balance beam hoping to have her step over each one when the time came to do that activity but instead she ran right over to it and started throwing them around and knocking them off. Then the instructor tried to get her to sit on some mats and stretch ya right I thought to myself and so did Rylin cause she wanted nothing to do with that. Then the instructor tried to get her to do another activity like jumping over these foam sticks and that wasnt happening either. All Rylin could think of was big gym and where can I run to first.  By this time I told the instructor Im going to leave cause maybe she will be better if Im not around. Well she wasnt she decided that the whole 45 min she would do what she wanted.  Most of her time was spent picking up all stuffed animals and putting them down this slide they had then running around with a couple in her hands jumping on the trampolines. I was embarassed but at the same time thought it was hillarious. I decided to switch her to a wednesday class that has another little girl in it and maybe will show her a thing or two. We will see how next week goes!
