Ok so two weeks ago Sam had five puppies. And they are adorable. She had two black ones , two white and black ones and one brown one like her. That was on a Wed. then on the following Mon I was sitting in our living room and noticed two ticks by her kennel I thought what the heck and then killed them. Then on Wed I saw two more again I worried a little but didnt think anything of it. Then on Thurs I was changing Rylins diaper and found one on her leg this is when i freaked out. I called the doctor and then ran in the living room and took a close look and to my disgust the little creatures were everywhere , all on our living room walls it was disgusting. I called Matt and made him come home to help me. He came home and ripped up the living room. literaly. He throw out our couch , tore out our baseboards and anything else in the living room that looked supiscious. Then we called the exterminator who said they would come the next day to spray and then I called the vet to see if I could bring the dogs in to get shaved down and de-ticked. So the dogs went to the vet on Saturday and they found 13 on sam, 12 on rex and 5 on chandler. Again gross just thinking about it makes me sick. So after they were all shaved and de-ticked we focused on the house we have been deticking our house ever since. Inside and out. Matt and I are both grossed out by this whole episode and hope to be fully tick free soon. Here are some pics of our living room empty and the dogs hairless!
