On Saturday since Matt had no work for the first time in two weeks we decided to go up to deerfield beach to this park that has a water/splash park , skate park and wakeboarding pulley. We got to the splash park and seconds after we paid they blew the lightining siren meaning that they have to close down all parts of the park until lightining is at least 30 miles away. So since we paid already they gave us a rain check yea I know pretty lame we just paid but I figured knowing Florida it wouldnt be closed for long. So we drove over to the skate park to hang out so Matt could skate around while we waited. As we got out of the car Matt locked the keys in the car. Great I thought. So now we were stuck at the skate park until we could get in our car which Matt wasnt to unhappy about. He started making friends with all the teenage skaters and we found out the Rylin likes to sit on the board and get pushed. So after about an hour my brother showed up with the keys and the water park opened back up. It was hot and sticky, Rylin and I were sweating and eventhough it was way passed nap time I was determined to go have some water fun. I couldnt convinced Matt to come b/c it was like trying to take candy from a baby. So Rylin and I got in the car and had some water fun. She really enjoyed it but she missed her daddy being around (guilt trip ;) Anyway I got to go down all the slides with her and I folllowed her around the whole time b/c the water came up to her chest and she thought for some reason she could run through it and still float. So by the end of the session my back hurt from bending over the whole time but it was a blast and we stayed cool. By the end Rylin was so tired she was getting delirious. So here are some pics I took and a video of Rylin on the stakeboard.
