Our Week in Review

Ok Im going to try and sum up our week since I feel like alot went on. Ok so starting Sunday we went to church as usual and then came home to a bad thunderstorn which blew out our transformer which means no electricity. So we decided to head down to Miami to visit Mom and Dad since they had electricity. We hung out with everybody for a little while then got a call from FPL telling us our electric was back on. Sweet we thought! When we arrived home we were surprised to find out that the electricity had not been back on so I called FPL and they told me that they had no idea that our transformer was blown and it wouldnt be until midnight or later that we would have power. So it was about 7pm at this time and Matt and I firgured why suffer when we have a generator. So we got some gas and powered that thing up. It was great we had our fridge, lights, tv, fans and a window ac unit all going. It was a hurricane practice run is what we will call it :) For those of you who dont live here in Florida at night it still feels like 90 degrees in the summer so generator was needed! Around 1:00 am a FPL truck shows up and tells us they have to get to the pole in the back yard with the truck. So Matt moves some stuff in the backyard and the truck backs up into our yard. It was a huge truck and kinda cool to watch the guy go up in the lift to change out the transformer. Then power was restored!

K that was Sunday then on Tuesday Matt and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. It was fun we had The May's over and we made some delicious sushi. Camber is a sushi rolling pro and makes some great rolls. We had some tuna rolls and some crab rolls and Matt made some ahi tuna. Yum. Thinking of it makes my mouth drool. Then of course topped it off with brownie sundaes. Arent you getting hungry? I am. K so that was Tuesday I didnt take any pics but Camber did so maybe she will post them. So moving on to Wednesday which was Matts 28th bday. Yes we got married the day before Matts bday so he wouldnt forget ;) We took Rylin over to the May's so they could watch her while Matt and I went to dinner. It was a good dinner we went to buca di beppo I think thats how you spell it but it was yummy. Then we went and picked Rylin up and went back to the house for some cake and ice cream. My brother Ryan and his lady , My cousin Jason and his lady and My other cousin Fran and Dennis (not pictured) all came over for some yummy cake , cookies and ice cream which by the way i baked, Yup I baked and it was fantastic well at least I thoguht so.

K. Please excuse my cuz Fran in her pic she was mad I took the picture ;0 Alright then on Thursday Rylin and I went to Camber's pool and went swimming for a bit. It was fun as usual

Finally made it to today. It was a good day of running to home depot and doing things around the house. Since my brother moved out last week. We figured we would fix up the room before we put the furniture in it. So Matt took the popcorn off the ceiling and he installed one of our new hurricane impact windows. Which is way exciting. For those of you who havent been in hurricanes it is way nice to have impact windows on your house so that when a hurricane does head your way you dont have to put up shutters which is a pain in the butt. For real! Here are pics of what Rylin and I did while we watched Matt work ;)

The biggest event this week I think is Rylin is off and running and her two bottom teeth have broken through the gums. OUCH!
